In this educational episode, Kelly & Cynthia welcome Jeremy Fox, a Licenced Professional Counsellor, EMDR Consultant, Mental Health Therapist specializing in Trauma Recovery.  You will hear him talk about how EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) Therapy has helped people relieve many types of psychological trauma.  Jeremy speaks about how the amygdala, which is an important part of the limbic system, can sometimes become overactivated due to traumatic anxiety.  He also explains how people are able to hide their memories without even realizing it until some situation, touch and/or smell triggers them.
